Starting with its founding in 1910, the company has produced cartons. In 1990, it was spun off from the Kombinat Verpackung Leipzig and privatized by Mr. Michael Schautschick. In 1993, Mr. Schautschick acquired 100% of the shares of Verpackungsmittel GmbH Markneukirchen. As it has been for decades, the company continues to manufacture cartons today in a wide variety of assortments. In 1992, the production of school and gift bags was added as a second product line.
