Sønderborg-virksomheden er markedsleder på det danske marked inden for smart sensor teknologi og tilhørende software til overvågning og administration af genbrugsstationer og containere. Virksomheden leverer til mere end halvdelen af de danske forsynings- og affaldsselskaber. Løsningerne omfatter BrainyBins Transport og logistiksoftware til styring og administration af affaldsbeholdere og genbrugsstationer samt en række sensortyper, der registrerer fyldningsgrad, temperatur, placering etc. i affaldsbeholdere eller containere. Systemet er udviklet i samarbejde med danske forsynings- og affaldsselskaber. Maacks er teknologiførende og har senest ansøgt om patent for nye BrainyBins Radar sensor, som giver mere pålidelige og nøjagtige målinger end de tidligere generationer af sensorer.
