The nationwide operating WORLD TEXT Language Service oHG, based in Schwerin, has stood for qualified and specialized professional translations in and out of over 50 languages since 1991. WORLD TEXT not only has many years of experience but also possesses modern competencies of the IT age. For the languages English, French, Russian, and Spanish, our permanent employees are generally sworn. In all offered languages, we collaborate with approximately 500 experienced and vetted professional translators and generally sworn translators. This allows us to respond very quickly and flexibly to the requirements and wishes of our clients. To guarantee high quality in translations, we deploy interpreters and translators according to their specializations. In translations, we work according to the native speaker principle and conduct a multi-stage correction process. Our areas of focus lie in the sectors of technology, business, science, advertising, and law, as well as in the translation of tender documents. We also take on proofreading of already created translations and edit German and foreign language texts. Our commitment to the region and the country is very important to us. Therefore, we actively engage as management in the activities of the Chamber of Commerce in Schwerin and the Entrepreneurs' Association of Northern Germany Mecklenburg-Schwerin. The managing director Kerstin Voigt is also the state chairwoman of the Eastern Europe Friendship Society Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e. V. and a member of the board of the nationwide active Foundation for West-East Encounters. Since 2015, she has also been the chairwoman of the Friends of FILMKUNSTFEST MV. The managing director Natalia Jentzsch is actively involved in the board of Women in Management Schwerin and in several art associations such as Friends of the Mecklenburg State Theatre, Friends of the State Museum Schwerin, and the Art Association for Mecklenburg & Vorpommern Schwerin.
