For over thirty years, we have been dealing with grinding processes for all types of materials. When Karsten Kellerstrass founded the small company in Hannover, it initially focused only on abrasives and a few smaller hand tools for the wood and furniture industry in Germany. With his charming personality, the friendly businessman was able to build a reputable and satisfied customer base. Then came the collaboration with the Danish manufacturer Hansen & Hundeboel (now Fladder Danmark A/S) from Ansager. Here, machines for processing wood and lacquer surfaces were developed and manufactured. The customer base quickly grew, along with the individual experience gained from the tasks presented by the customers. In 1997, the first deburring system was designed, developed, and installed for Airbus in Augsburg. Many more systems followed, which are still in use in production today. More and more industries became aware of Fladder's custom systems and integrated the equipment into their manufacturing processes. Whether in large kitchen technology, medical technology, packaging technology, or mechanical engineering, we were able to offer renowned manufacturers suitable solutions for deburring sheets and metal parts. In doing so, we analyze the customer's task, develop a suitable system with Fladder Danmark A/S, and complement it with additional equipment in the periphery, such as dust extraction systems or belt conveyors. In 2011, Karsten Kellerstrass handed over the company to the new shareholders. After over 50 years in business, he entrusted the company's future to new hands. All new owners were already employed in the company and continued to develop it further. New products led to new tasks, new projects to new suppliers. And so today, we are still available to our customers to discuss all topics related to grinding and deburring.
