1995: McHale exhibits in Germany for the first time at Agritechnica. The product range consists of bale wrappers and silo cutting tongs. After Agritechnica 1995, Martin McHale and Tobias Häusser meet and agree on a collaboration. Tobias Häußer sells McHale products in Germany on his own account, except in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The initial discussions with the agricultural machinery trade are disappointing, as a competitor is already being distributed. Tobias Häußer travels to potential customers with a machine and trailer and sells directly without intermediaries. The first use of the machines occurs upon delivery or later over the phone. The machines are very well received, and the neighbor wants one next year too! In case of problems, assistance can be provided over the phone, and quickly, operations continue. The spare parts warehouse is equipped for all eventualities, thus avoiding long downtimes. The product range is constantly expanding. Whether round or square, whether stationary or in the field, whether to be wrapped off or directly behind the press, we can supply the appropriate wrapping device for every purpose. In 2003, the first McHale press wrapper combination, the Fusion I, arrives in Germany. While all press manufacturers have extended their presses with a wrapping unit, McHale introduces a new, very compact concept and enters the press business.
