SpanSet secutex Sicherheitstechnik GmbH was founded in 1982 by Heinz Franke and SpanSet GmbH. Initially, the focus was primarily on developing protective coatings for textile lifting devices and lashing materials. This was also the birth of secutex, secutex as a pseudonym for "Safe Textile". Over the years, secutex has developed into one of the largest processors of compact polyurethane and is now a leading manufacturer of polyurethane-coated lifting straps and protective sleeves; over the years, pure polyurethane products such as technical molded parts for mechanical engineering, roller and cylinder coatings, zinc protection, and surface protection were added. With our own mold construction, we can design and build individual solutions for the customer. In further development, alongside the existing casting systems, various spraying systems were also created. secutex is a highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane developed for lifting sharp-edged components and for surface protection of sensitive materials - such as coils and copper pipes. New ideas are consistently implemented into new products. Today, almost all coil storage in Europe is equipped with secutex-Coil mats and secutex Coilprotect, the secutex protection is almost an industry standard for lifting and storing sharp-edged sheets.
