RUDOLF WEBER KG

The heart of the Weber family has been beating for hangers for many generations. It all began in 1868 in Brandau, a town in the Erzgebirge. There, Josef Weber produced the famous wooden toys. His son Anton Weber specialized in the production of handcarts after taking over the business, and about fifty years later, they began manufacturing hangers. In 1945, the family fled, and Rudolf Weber chose the Odenwald because of its lush beech and oak forests. Wood played an important role in his planning for the future, in which he wanted to continue the production of hangers. To meet market demands, plastic hangers were added to the product range in the early 1960s. Demand grew rapidly, and soon the Weber company became an important employer in the region with around 140 jobs. The passion for hangers and the expertise accumulated over many decades ensure quality while also allowing for the development of new innovations. This, along with corresponding modernization and rationalization measures, opened up new markets for Rudolf Weber KG over the years in Europe and overseas. Many of the products from our mature range, which includes well over 10,000 different models made of wood, plastic, and metal, are supplied to customers around the world.
