On April 1, 1987, Hans-Jörg Maurer, with the support of his wife Franziska Maurer, founded his company, the plastic processing hj maurer. At the beginning, the cellar, garage, and living room had to serve as a workshop until the converted premises on Klappergasse in Villmergen could be occupied. At the location in Villmergen, production was successfully carried out for the next 20 years, and the facilities were further expanded and optimized. In 2007, the opportunity arose to move to new and, above all, more spacious premises in Dintikon on Silostrasse. In June 2000, son Patrick Maurer joined his parents' business, and since January 1, 2019, he has been running the company, which he took over from his father, under his name as plastic processing p maurer. To this day, the company remains a purely family-owned business. The core of production focuses on processing Plexiglas acrylic, and additionally, the following plastics are also used: polycarbonate, PET, PVC foam and hard sheets, as well as polystyrene. From these materials, various displays, showcases, cover hoods, protective covers, window decorations, and exclusive furniture are created. One of the greatest strengths is custom manufacturing and small series. Our customers include internationally active trade fair, event, and stage builders, large distributors, store fitters, cold chains, hotel chains, artists, and private individuals.
