Nephros filters use a proprietary hollow fiber technology; the hollow fiber design enables the filters to optimize the three elements critical to filter performance: • Filtration - as low as 5 nanometers • Flow rate - minimal disruption • Filter life - up to 12 months Our DSU-H and SSU-H Ultrafilters are FDA 510(k) cleared and are intended to be used to filter EPA quality drinking water. The filters retain bacteria, viruses and endotoxin. By providing ultrapure water for patient washing and drinking, the filters aid in infection control. Nephros has developed a series of ultrafilters that can be used as an RO polishing filter.
