MILIS FRUIT NUT NURSERY

Milis Nurseries specializes in the production and trade of fruit and nut plants. In the 1960s, Konstantinos Milis, paying special attention to the needs of Greek trees for healthy reproductive material, utilized the old well-known practices of the region and, in collaboration with agronomists, began the creation of the first fruit nursery (peaches, cherries, apricots, plums, apples, pears, almonds, walnuts, etc.). A few years later, their son and current owner, Vassilios Milis, took over the management of the business and enriched the variety of offered species, topics, and varieties. In collaboration with domestic and European institutes and universities, we developed trees capable of meeting the growing demand of producers while ensuring adherence to high-quality standards for our fruit trees. At the same time, we invested in human resources with agronomists focusing on after-sales service. Working with farmers, we provide knowledge on cultivation issues whenever needed (plant protection, fertilization, reproduction, etc.), respecting modern global trends. As the business is widely known in the European market, it receives an increasing volume of information and new varieties. Years of experience and continuous research have enabled us to adopt new technologies, thus participating in larger projects, even abroad, and we are involved in all stages from planting to harvesting.
