About us

The company MAXEL was founded in 1987 and has been led by Laurent Capon since 2014. In response to the ever-growing demand from its customers, the company has certified OEKOTEX Standard 100 Class 1 for its five major product families. Maxel provides its clients with all types of sewing thread for the industry, manufactured in France. Our threads are available in over 350 colors, in a wide range of numbers and technical specifications, to meet all your needs. The range of sewing thread products is 100% textured polyamide multi-filament specifically designed for the making of lingerie, swimwear, and men's underwear. Our sewing thread is particularly elastic due to the particle-based manufacturing technique of this thread. Research and development aim to develop and improve the quality of our products, from which MAXEL has succeeded in producing flame-resistant sewing thread according to precise compositions that comply with standards for protective clothing against fire...
