On July 1, 1990, Frank Matthes started selling and servicing Kärcher products from his home garage. After just one year, the master craftsman was able to hire an experienced technician and his son Dirk. The demand was high and customer feedback was very positive. Soon, the space was no longer sufficient, and in 1997, the company moved to its current building at the entrance to Dresden. During the century's flood in August 2002, Matthes Company helped flood victims with its large capacities in high-pressure cleaners, wet vacuums, dehumidifiers, construction heaters, and quick repairs of water-damaged devices. In 2007, the sales area was expanded to 250 m² through renovations. As a Kärcher Center, the entire range of Kärcher products can now be attractively presented, and the most common products are always in stock. Currently, 18 salespeople, field representatives, and technicians serve customers in the greater Dresden area. Last year, Frank Matthes took over the plastering and conveying technology from the age-related closure of the Aehlig/Boxdorf company, along with its experienced employees, and is thus a competent contact in this field as a PFT premium partner. Everything under one roof Cleaning technology, plastering and conveying technology, construction heaters, and dehumidifiers – Matthes Company is now well-positioned. The offering is complemented by son Dirk, who implements individual solutions on-site with his plant engineering. Also, by son Daniel, who expands the offering with KAESER compressors through his company, Matthes Druckluft- und Versorgungssysteme.
