"Trade is change" This proverb has guided the company for over three decades without losing focus and care for the customer. On April 1, 1972, the young orthopedic mechanic master and merchant Frank Guder, together with his wife, purchased the branch of Luttermann & Co. Essen in the center of Bad Oeynhausen, consisting of a medical supply store with an orthopedic workshop and a small department for medical and hospital supplies. The staff consists of 6 people. 1975 The medical and hospital supplies are further supplemented with medical technology and laboratory trade. Laboratory courses and training are held for doctors and laboratory technicians in-house. The field service is further expanded. There are now 11 employees. 1987 The orthopedic workshop and the medical supply store are sold to the workshop manager, and the Guder couple focuses exclusively on the areas of laboratory, medical and hospital supplies, and medical technology. A workshop for the repair, testing, and maintenance of medical devices is established, and two state-certified medical technicians are now part of the specialized staff. The company is recognized as a DEKRA base for the testing of medical devices. 1991/92 A commercial property in the Eidinghausen district is acquired. With almost 6,000 sqm of space, it offers ample room for a representative office and warehouse building. After a short construction period, the new premises are ready for occupancy on July 15, 1992. 1994/95 Due to industry experience and the now larger space availability, a long-held idea becomes a reality. The mail order business for supplying professional colleagues with medical, hospital, and laboratory supplies can now be tackled as a complement to previous activities. Since that day, the focus has been on trading products for diabetes care. 2003/04 At the height of his successful entrepreneurial activity, Frank Guder passed away at Christmas 2003. His wife Brigitta continues the business as GmbH & Co. KG. 09.04.2007 Just in time for the open house, the construction work on our new employee parking lot is completed. This now provides our visitors with more parking spaces, and the delivery traffic also has sufficient maneuvering space. 06.05.2009 Seventeen years after the construction of the company complex – which had "ample space" – the first groundbreaking for the new, urgently needed 800 sqm warehouse and the new 70 sqm laboratory area took place. The construction or renovation measures take less than five months, so that the new premises could be occupied in the last week of October. 01.06.2011 Brigitta Guder hands over the company and management to her previous assistant Olaf Schäfer.
