The company was founded in 1948 by Johann Kucera. He was supported by his wife, who took care of the office routine. The original location was their apartment with a large cellar compartment. In 1968, their daughter Elisabeth joined the family business. In the 1970s, a glassblowing workshop was added through Elisabeth's second marriage to Mr. Johann Fischerlehner. With the merging of the two businesses, a new location was sought and found. Since that time in 1978, the company has been at this address. With the retirement of Mr. Johann Fischerlehner, it was then closed. Since 1989, the daughter of Mrs. Elisabeth Fischerlehner, Mrs. Carmen Miranda, has been working in the company and took it over in 2010. The offerings of the company Fischerlehner & Kucera include medical and laboratory products. The customers range from hospitals, universities, and doctors to private clients. For the company, customer contact is a matter of course, which is why we forgo a webshop, as otherwise the personal touch would be lost.
