We are a small family business. My grandfather, the first Juan Jiménez, emigrated from the countryside to the city; he was a blacksmith by trade and dedicated himself to making tools for the field. My father, also Juan Jiménez, spent all day in the forge. Once in the city, they had to adapt and start making grills, doors, and more. My father learned the trade; he was a person with interests and very creative, so little by little he made a name for himself within the guild. The family workshop was small, and gradually they began to manufacture iron pieces aimed at decoration, such as head lanterns... When my grandfather retired, my father continued with the workshop and they opened a store on the legendary Feria street, which operated for over 30 years. During those years, my parents worked hard, managing to produce pieces for high-end decoration that were sold abroad.
