GSX Process Direct current - Sulfuric acid - Oxalic acid - Anodizing process (GSX) The oxide layers formed by this process are silver¹, but can also be dyed in any color. This is done by incorporating dyes into the pores of the oxide layer. In addition to our standard colors gold, brass, copper, titanium, stainless steel, blue, red, green, violet, turquoise, black, and burgundy, we are also able to produce a variety of other shades². We are happy to assist you in realizing your ideas. 1 Depending on the alloy, the produced oxide layers exhibit alloy-typical color tints. 2 If machine parts are made from different AL alloys, this can lead to color differences in the dyed oxide layers. 2-Stage Process Two-stage anodizing process. In this process, the oxide layer formed by the GSX process is electrolytically dyed in a metal salt solution using alternating current, the 2nd stage. This is done by incorporating metal from the metal salt solution at the pore base of the oxide layer. Depending on the working conditions, colorings can be created between light bronze and black. The resulting colorings are light and weather resistant.
