With the Elma Dünyası brand (Apple World), we export apples that we produce ourselves. We produce residue-free products with our Good Agricultural Practices certification. In the Yahyalı district of Kayseri, we have started industrial production of 8 varieties of apples on 700 acres of land using Good Agricultural Practices methods on classic, semi-dwarf, and dwarf apple trees. Our production is guided by critical control points and a philosophy of continuous improvement. We aim to provide high-quality apples to consumers without compromising the natural aroma and taste of the products through a production approach that combines technology with biological methods. Yahyalı is an extremely suitable region for apple cultivation in terms of plantations. The produced products show a difference in sugar content and coloration. Factors such as the strong soil structure, the absence of irrigation problems, and the significant temperature difference between day and night enhance agricultural quality for apple production. Another crucial aspect in apple cultivation, as important as production, is the storage conditions during the post-harvest period, known as post-harvest. Storage conditions, which are as important as the care applied during apple cultivation, are standardized at temperatures and humidity levels suitable for apple varieties, with periodic inspections to maintain freshness as if they were just picked from the tree.
