Bijin is the result of a career in the cosmetics industry, a growing awareness for a healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle, as well as 11 years spent in Japan and Asia. During this time, I deeply immersed myself in Japanese beauty culture, exploring products, ingredients, rituals, and the technology (J-Beauty) that combines modernity and tradition. It was only natural that I launched Bijin and Takesumi (bamboo charcoal) at the end of 2018, my brands of certified organic skincare products, directly inspired by Japanese traditions. My goal is to share new gestures and beauty rituals to incorporate into our routines, using healthy and natural products designed like food that nourishes our skin. By the end of 2019, we expanded our range of active and plant-based charcoals and are proud to be the first to offer 100% French-made charcoal. Bijin encompasses three brands: FRENCH ACTIVE CHARCOAL: We are pioneers in the production of entirely French plant charcoal! BIJIN: "Foodie" skincare with super ingredients inspired by ancient Japanese beauty rituals. TAKESUMI: Importing active plant charcoal from Japan, such as takesumi (bamboo charcoal) and Binchotan. All our products are 100% natural, following a zero-waste and organic approach. We offer the widest range of charcoals in Europe.
