BENKA BEEKEEPING

The profession, which began in 1972 by Kadir Küçükbenli with tinworking, was founded on the philosophy that "You must first like the product you produce." In 1980, he entered the beekeeping sector by initially manufacturing bee feeders. In 1987, beekeepers' blowers were produced, and Benka products were introduced to beekeepers in various provinces of Turkey. In 1995, we made our first export to Algeria, marking the first step of Benka's branding efforts in the global beekeeping sector. Subsequently, we placed importance on promotional activities and participated in industry fairs. In 2000, we expanded our product range by starting the production of honey extraction machines and honey processing equipment. In 2013, we participated in our first international fair, the Apimondia International Beekeeping Congress held in Kyiv, Ukraine, organized by the World Beekeeping Organization. Benka products, which attracted great interest at the fair, made a rapid entry into the global beekeeping sector through these events. And today… Benka, which produces equipment used in all production stages from the hive to our table, is developing its products by combining traditional methods used by beekeepers in Turkey and around the world with technology through R&D and innovation efforts in a 5,000 m2 workspace. To this day, we have increased our product variety every day with the support and recommendations of our customers, without compromising our quality principle for years. Additionally, to maintain customer satisfaction at the highest level, we have a "certified honey" program.
