ATELIERS JEAN PERZEL: artisan of art, creator of the lighting fixtures for the Normandie ocean liner and the UN. Creator and manufacturer of lighting fixtures from the 1930s to the present day. A master glassmaker, goldsmith, and creator with a broad technological culture, Jean Perzel was a true pioneer of modern lighting art. He managed to express a balance rarely achieved between nobility and grace, richness and sobriety. From the 1930s, he called upon his nephew François Raidt to initiate and continue his work. Both of them have continued to study and design thousands of lamps, wall sconces, chandeliers, ceiling lights, floor lamps, reading lamps, as well as furniture pieces such as tables, consoles, or glass guéridons. For over twenty years, Olivier Raidt, the founder's great-nephew, has ensured the continuity of this family tradition. All pieces coming out of the Perzel workshops are still handcrafted as they were in 1923.
