Amorim Carvalho was founded in 1989 by Amorim de Carvalho. The company emerged from its founding partner's passion for commerce, establishing its headquarters in Felgueiras, Portugal. It started as a business dedicated to the resale of socks, and with the increase in sales and economic growth, the company evolved and adapted to the new market needs. Thus, in the 1990s, the company was already engaged not only in the resale of socks but also in underwear, pajamas, home textiles, and baby clothing.
