WITTHINRICH GMBH

The company Witthinrich GmbH originated from the ENERGIE group, founded in 1920 (now: ALPINE@ENERGIE), based in Biberach, Baden-Württemberg. It was a well-known assembly company in overhead line construction up to 380 kV and mobile communication systems. Since the mid-1980s, the ENERGIE group has also made a name for itself as a supplier of materials for electrical distribution networks in voltage classes from 1 to 380 kV. The philosophy of collaborating with renowned European manufacturers in every product area has led to a trusting partnership with many energy supply companies and other partners in the field of energy distribution. Following the acquisition of this sector in 1998 and the establishment of the current Witthinrich GmbH in Potsdam, this partnership has been expanded and deepened in recent years. For several years now, products have increasingly been developed with our customers and produced under our own name. With the acquisition of the ISO sector from the company PFISTERER, which includes accessories for insulated overhead lines in January 2008, Witthinrich GmbH has evolved into a new dimension as a manufacturing company.
