The SGT manufactory is the German quality manufacturer of suitcases, bags, and other high-quality leather products. The brand has stood for masterful craftsmanship in leather goods for decades. In the best artisanal tradition, traditional and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes are skillfully combined in a modern workshop located in the heart of the Erzgebirge. Crucial for quality – the material At SGT, the finest leather qualities from southern German and South American cattle are used. Two-thirds of this is selected grain leather - the outer skin of the cattle, with all its natural scars and patterns. The remaining third is high-quality split leather, mostly head-covered and finished. Traditional tanning – individual manufacturing Tanning and finishing of the leather take place in the EU. Using predominantly vegetable tanning processes, sophisticated leathers are created, which can be transformed into noble, supple leathers through elaborate milling if necessary. The natural appearance of the leather and its typical structure remain visible.
