We have been a textile recycling company since 2008 in Bavaria. We sell original clothing and original shoes. You can visit us on-site and convince yourself of the quality. Many municipalities and local institutions have already chosen SimayTex for the collection and processing of textiles. We have acquired these partnerships, among other reasons, due to our many years of experience in the textile industry. In addition, we have certifications and provide clear reporting on the collected textiles. No matter whether you donate your old clothes to a charitable organization or a commercial collector, you are guaranteed to support an important cause: - environmental protection. Every year, over 700,000 tons of old clothes are generated in Germany alone. It is ecologically essential to process them sensibly, as otherwise they would significantly increase waste mountains. Furthermore, the demand for textiles is continuously rising. Currently, 19 million tons of raw cotton are grown annually on an area of 340,000 square kilometers worldwide; 50% of the world's pesticide consumption is used for this. To produce one kilogram of cotton fabric, 15 - 20 kilowatt-hours of energy and 100 liters of water are consumed. If we want to preserve the Earth and intact nature for our descendants, it is essential to reintegrate our "old clothes" into the usage cycle - in whatever form.
