FLAUGER & FLÄMIG was founded in 1913 and has been a member of the SCHERDEL Group since 1976, which today employs over 2000 people worldwide and is Europe's largest provider of technical springs. With the affiliated group members, we can draw on additional extensive manufacturing facilities for springs in the area of cold forming. Our own "Research and Development" department continuously provides us with new approaches for spring-specific advancements and innovations. FLAUGER & FLÄMIG has a decades-long tradition as a spring manufacturer. With the experience gained and the modern manufacturing facilities available to us, we are capable of fulfilling even extraordinary customer requests with excellent quality. Many significant companies from all industries have been convinced of our quality; they are now part of our customer base. Stamping Technology Contact, hook, and leaf springs We manufacture high-precision stamped parts for you with material thicknesses ranging from 0.05 to 3 mm. Fastening elements for windshield wipers, contact springs, shields, or retaining bands have proven themselves thousands of times in many products. Bending Technology Compression, leg, and wire form springs For our customers, we process round material with a wire diameter of 0.4 to 2.0 mm, and within our group from 0.2 to 6.0 mm. The areas of application include pedal systems, seat belt systems, carburetor and injection technology in automotive construction, as well as coin validation devices. In 1913, the "Berlin Spiral Spring Factory" was established by Paul Flämig, and in 1927, Karl Flauger founded the "Karl Flauger Spiral Spring Factory." In 1947, both companies merged to form Flauger & Flämig oHG. Since 1976, FLAUGER & FLÄMIG has been part of the SCHERDEL Group, which today employs more than 4200 people worldwide and is Europe's largest provider of technical springs. To further emphasize our affiliation with the group, we rebranded in July 2014 to SCHERDEL Berlin GmbH & Co. KG.
