scantastiX GmbH - Your sustainable scanning service provider in the heart of the Ruhr area. The company scantastiX was founded by Jens Auch in 2018 with the idea of sustainability. We specialize primarily in services in the areas of archival scanning, digitization of large formats such as plans and construction drawings, document management systems, and the paperless office. Our clients include municipal enterprises, renowned law firms from across the country, small to medium-sized businesses from the surrounding area, and even technical universities. Our company assists with all matters related to the digitization of your physical original documents, implementation of a document management system, handling of old archives, storage of original documents, or even digitizing daily mail. With our employees, we realize digitization projects with the highest standards of quality. In an increasingly digital world, the digitization of paper is an ever-growing challenge. Especially since we need to process confidential paper documents quickly and efficiently. Through our compliance with the BSI TR-03138 Resiscan standard, we naturally consider all aspects necessary for the digitization of your documents. Sustainable - We consume an average of around 250KG of paper annually. Paper consumption, especially in Germany, is higher than anywhere else in the world. In comparison, a Chinese person consumes only about 69KG per year. The effort involved is enormous; the average German thus consumes around 748KG of wood, 13,000L of water, 2680kWh of electricity, and CO2 emissions of 264KG. That’s why we want to give something back to nature. One of our scantastiX corporate philosophies is the protection of nature. We are committed to protecting forests and primeval forests, as they make an invaluable contribution to climate protection by binding vast amounts of carbon. Forests play an important role in water and nutrient cycles, the preservation of biodiversity, and as a recreational and living space for humans. We plant trees for every 50 scanned folders. For this purpose, we have established nature reserves directly behind our office in Fröndenberg in the water and nature conservation area of the Ruhr.
