For more than 40 years, thermal spraying has been successfully used to protect surfaces from wear, oxidation, erosion, cavitation, corrosion, and scaling, as well as in thermal barriers – both in repair and new manufacturing. With a maximum base material load of 100°C to 150°C, excellent surface regeneration is achieved today, which also provides ideal conditions for unlimited layer buildup. Due to the variety of possible spray materials that can be combined into various layer compositions, the areas of application are nearly limitless: The process is suitable for treating almost any base material, from metal to plastic and ceramics to wood and cardboard.
