REICH MIM GMBH

The company Reich MIM GmbH is located in Schwarzenberg/Saxony, Germany. With over 40 employees and a production area of approximately 2,200 m², Reich MIM GmbH is a medium-sized enterprise that is entirely family-owned. The expertise of Reich MIM GmbH lies in the production of metal powder injection molded parts, commonly referred to as MIM (metal injection moulding). The MIM process combines two already known manufacturing methods: plastic injection molding and the sintering of metal powder compacts. Metal Injection Moulding brings both together. The MIM technology is suitable for components with high geometric complexity that are to be produced without further processing (undercuts, threads). Furthermore, it allows for the processing of materials that are difficult or impossible to machine (hard metals, high-speed steel, pure copper). It also enables the production of components whose geometric details cannot be manufactured mechanically (lamellas with wall thicknesses of < 0.5 mm). The main application areas are the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors, measurement and control technology, precision mechanics, the lock and fitting industry, tool technology, medical technology, as well as the household appliance sector.
