PRINTZIP GMBH

Since my apprenticeship as a printer from 1982 to 1985, I have remained loyal to the graphic industry. Although I was skilled at operating various machines, I knew that I wouldn't stay in production forever. I transitioned into order processing after completing a three-year technician program. To better understand customers and their needs, I pursued a part-time training course as a marketing planner. This enhanced my consulting skills and perfectly complemented my technical knowledge. I had the opportunity to work as a plant manager in a printing company with about 30 employees. My responsibilities ranged from field service to order entry, scheduling, and coordinating print jobs. During this time, I became increasingly fascinated by packaging and unique printed products. Experimenting and trying new things became my passion. In May 2007, I founded my own company under the name Printzip!, where I can apply all my know-how and passionately dedicate myself to the tasks of my clients. I am drawn to challenges in the field of printing technology and the possibilities of combining various materials to make printed products more interesting and effective in advertising. I also have the privilege of passing on knowledge in printing and marketing as the head of inter-company courses in the communication industry, where I teach learners who are completing their commercial training in a printing company about these topics. For a sporting balance, I ride my racing bike. Exploring the endurance and limits of my body, along with the associated adrenaline rush, gives an incredible feeling. The biggest challenge I experienced in 2013 was the great Alpine brevet, probably one of the toughest one-day races. With over 270 kilometers and 7,000 meters of elevation gain, it took me over the Grimsel, Nufenen, Lukmanier, Oberalp, and Susten passes.
