The Pinho & Palha project was created with the intention of building ecological houses, leveraging our knowledge from other types of construction and the preferences of our clients. Now, we only build ecological houses! OUR MISSION - ECO CONSTRUCTION ADVANTAGES OF THE STRAW PANELS QUICK ASSEMBLY. The straw panels are manufactured by Pinho & Palha, and the walls/structure are assembled within a period of 3-7 days, depending on the project. ACOUSTIC INSULATION Pinhopalha ensures that the interior partitions also have acoustic insulation, providing comfort. FIRE RESISTANT The houses with natural mortar cladding have fire resistance equivalent to that of brick. THERMAL MASS A significant thermal mass has been achieved through the application of sandy clay partitions on the interior walls, and clay plaster on the exterior walls. COMFORTABLE CLIMATE Through a combination of natural cladding in houses with compressed straw, a comfortable environment is provided indoors. In summer, the house stays cool, and in winter, it is very warm. COSTS Due to the use of natural materials that are easy to manufacture, ecological houses can be built at a low cost in a short period of time. 100% ECOLOGICAL We use very little wood and much more straw in the panels. Straw is one of the materials that is produced in large quantities every year. We only use eco-friendly materials.
