Lecithine.fr has deliberately chosen to offer only Sunflower Lecithin, either Conventional or "Organic", neglecting soy lecithin which is associated with GMOs and is also an allergen. Furthermore, we focus solely on liquid Lecithin rather than powdered, as the latter is defatted using a solvent called Hexane, which is harmful to health, and therefore cannot be considered "Organic". We are specialists in selling these products in small containers. We cater to industries, SMEs, micro-enterprises, artisans in the food and cosmetics sectors, as well as individuals. This is why we offer containers ranging from 200 g to 25 kg. A little note on sunflower lecithin. Although soy was once the main source of lecithin in foods, sunflower has emerged as a better alternative. Indeed, many people have allergies to soy, particularly to genetically modified soy. Some critics also complain about the use of chemical solvents in the processing of soy lecithin, and that traces of these solvents can be found in the product. In contrast, sunflower lecithin is a natural product, free from genetic engineering. There are no known allergic reactions caused by this product and few side effects.
