Optimeat is engaged in pork, beef, mutton/lamb, and poultry, both as raw meat and in retail packs, available fresh, in refrigerated, and frozen conditions. Most of the volumes that Optimeat handles consist of basic raw meat for processors, cutting plants, and canned meat factories, represented by a full range of: carcasses, anatomical pieces bone-in and boneless, trimmings, fats, and offals. The wholesale sector is supplied with prime cuts and specialties, in various packs, along with the aforementioned products. Optimeat’s group operates an EU-approved cutting and packing plant, where carcasses and cuts are deboned, portioned, and packed for the retail market, including supermarkets, outlets, restaurants, hotels, and catering services. Optimeat has expanded its product range, and with its logistic facilities, it covers a more diversified market. Today, its portfolio of clients includes all market sectors in the field: meat processors from all categories, wholesalers, and chains of supermarkets and hypermarkets (METRO CASH & CARRY, REAL, AUCHAN, CORA…). The commercial policy of Optimeat continues the core activity of the company: supplier of raw materials for the meat industry. The Optimeat group has an EU-approved cold store in the center of Bucharest and has established a logistic system for distribution.
