novotek GmbH was founded in August 1973. The focus of the business area was the development and manufacturing of laser optical devices, specifically for laboratories and universities. From 1976 onwards, the high vacuum sector increasingly became the subject of business activities, ultimately replacing the laser sector. Initially, the business activities concentrated on the development and design of high vacuum products, with the manufacturing of individual components initially outsourced to production facilities and external suppliers. The long-standing partnership with almost all suppliers has resulted in today’s well-coordinated collaboration. With the decision to also manufacture custom components according to customer specifications cost-effectively, it became necessary to establish in-house production. The company's growth has always been conservatively oriented: maintaining excellent relationships with our business partners and a fair, solid working method has been our principle. Furthermore, we hold ourselves to high standards regarding product quality, competitive pricing, and short delivery times. In almost all cases, our standard products are available directly from stock. Another advantage is the close, often personal contact with our customers, aiming to turn customer problems into our problems and find solutions. A very good working atmosphere among the staff, as well as the mentioned trusting business relationships with our customers and suppliers, is the result of our continuous revenue growth. The development of novotek from a supplier for universities and institutes to a supplier for the industry was an important step for sustainable growth. The product portfolio now includes all components in the KF, ISO-K, and CF areas. The continuous development of all valves is also one of our great strengths. Another strength of novotek is the creation of custom components according to customer specifications, sketches, drawings, or CAD data. These special components have been gaining importance and presence for years. Since 2011, we have also been building cubic and cylindrical vacuum chambers in various dimensions according to customer drawings. Here, our diverse experiences are beneficial for the customers. Based on excellent customer relationships, a wide product range, high-quality products at competitive prices, and an understanding of our customers' technical issues, we see a solid future for our company.
