When outsourcing the "Signieren" department was discussed at the optics company Carl Zeiss, I, Matthias Wetzel, recognized the opportunity and founded Matthias Wetzel INDUSTRIEBESCHRIFTUNGEN GmbH in 1999 as a "management buy out". This allowed me to realize my vision of an efficient marking center. What started with four employees has now grown to an almost 40-member team. To ensure that we continue to have specialized professionals available in the future, we have been training our own staff since 2004. By marking and coating high-quality industrial products from equipment manufacturing, optical precision engineering, plant and mechanical engineering, as well as the electronics and precision device industry, our company has developed into a recognized surface processing center.
