Klotz + Völckers: Styrofoam Boxes and Thermal Boxes Since 1970 Klotz + Völckers GmbH & Co. KG is a small medium-sized enterprise based in the east of Hamburg. Founded in 1970, we have been producing Styrofoam boxes and EPS thermal boxes for industry and trade for 45 years, catering to both small and large customers. Specializing in the manufacture of Styrofoam boxes for temperature-controlled shipping of perishable goods, we offer a wide range of products. Whether single-use or reusable, whether for frozen goods or fresh produce, we have the right insulated box for every application. From the material Piocelan, we produce robust and lightweight reusable thermal boxes. Compared to EPP boxes, they are significantly more economical to produce. Originally developed for the automotive industry, Piocelan impresses with excellent stiffness and high insulation properties. In cooperation with the Japanese manufacturer Sekisui Plastics, Klotz + Völckers has extensively tested Piocelan for use in the food sector and has received approval for production and trade in Germany and Europe. As a supporter of food control in North Rhine-Westphalia and a member of the German Frozen Food Institute, we are well aware of the strict requirements for shipping temperature-sensitive goods and food.
