Development of Core Business In the 1980s and 1990s, the product range was expanded. In the mid-1980s, the Coriolis scale was developed and patented. The company Schenck used this scale under license in various areas of the pharmaceutical and coal industries. The Coriolis scale remains the most economical continuously operating weighing system for difficult-flowing bulk materials to this day. By the end of the 1980s, the Automatic Moisture Control was developed. It is now used worldwide for moistening grain. In addition, further devices for weighing and mill monitoring were developed.
