Since our founding in 1961, we have developed into a high-performance aluminum die casting foundry located in Neuenrade-Küntrop. In addition, we have established another manufacturing facility with our wholly-owned subsidiary Engel Hungaria Kft. / Lébény in Hungary. The operation is located about 30 km from the Austrian border towards Györ. Here, too, we have modern foundry facilities, such as tilting casting machines and electric melting furnaces. In July 2000, we moved into our newly constructed operational building in Hungary. The existing manufacturing area was expanded by 100% with a new hall in mid-2004. The toolmaking company Kokillenbau-Friedrich GmbH, located just 10 km away with an additional 10 employees, is also part of our group as the parent company. For years, we have supplied renowned customers in the fields of vehicle, overhead line, machine, and apparatus construction. We also manufacture for manufacturers of electric motors, awnings, solar technology, outdoor lighting, and industrial scales. These typically involve various gearbox housings or drive housings, as well as motor flanges, covers, and cylinders or changeover sliding chutes with high technical requirements. The piece weights of these items range from approximately 10 g to 100 kg, with a specialization in large-volume tilting cast parts. We deliver a variety of items fully processed in all common remelting and foundry alloys or also hardened/tumbled in our own facilities. Upon request, we can also supply with various surface treatments. Here, we collaborate with competent partners.
