EMIL MÜLLER GMBH METALLWERK

In 1938, Emil Müller founded a mechanical manufacturing company in Brüchermühle, alongside his agriculture and trade in local products. By 1940, the first own factory building was erected in Hespert. Here, production of drawn, stamped, and pressed parts began, already utilizing in-house toolmaking. The main clients were vehicle manufacturers. Later, finished mechanical parts for various applications were added. For example, frame connection sleeves and bottom brackets for bicycles were produced, as well as wheel covers for various car models and buses, door latch locks for house and room doors, and much more. In 1956, a complete shift in production occurred towards the manufacturing of seamless metal pipes. The first customers were primarily supplied with brass pipes. The product range gradually expanded to include various pipes made of copper and many other copper alloys. The dimensional range for round pipes was continuously expanded. In parallel, the production of various profile pipes developed into another core competency of the company. The business grew steadily, leading to regular expansions. The largest construction project in the company's history took place in 1990 with the establishment of a 6,000 m² production hall and an attached office building in the newly developed industrial area of Hespert.
