DOMAINE LA GOUJONNE

GAEC (Groupement Agricole d’Exploitation en Commun) Kraus & Fils was established in 1994. Located twenty-five kilometers apart, the merger of two family farms gave rise to DOMAINE LA GOUJONNE, a vineyard spanning thirty-five hectares, divided between the AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) Côtes de Provence and Coteaux Varois en Provence. The estate expanded, and sales grew in the following years. Thus, in 2016, Domaine La Goujonne acquired the remaining family lands adjacent to the "Vicari" bastide, increasing the estate by twenty hectares. Domaine La Goujonne received the AB (Agriculture Biologique) label after three years of conversion, during which audits were conducted by ECOCERT to assess the compliance of products and practices. Respect for the environment and a reasoned cultivation approach have always been the guiding principles of the estate. Soil work is prioritized, and cooperation with breeders is preferred over the use of herbicides. Phytosanitary treatments are limited and carried out with recommended and approved products, without insecticides. Domaine La Goujonne has recognized that the demands regarding the expertise of professionals in the food sector continue to rise.
