Delphi Genetics is a biotechnology company, founded in 2001, based in Charleroi, in the Gosselies Biopark in Belgium. Delphi Genetics is a CDMO (Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization) specialized in genetic engineering and the bioproduction of plasmid DNA for clinical studies of viral and non-viral gene therapy. With 20 years of expertise in R&D, we are committed to providing customized and innovative technologies and solutions to support the development of new therapies. We offer a "one-stop-shop" service that not only contributes to the selection of new plasmid DNA candidates but also manufactures these plasmids under GMP conditions for clinical and commercial evaluation. The produced plasmids are used for the manufacture of viral vectors (AAV, Lentivirus...), messenger RNA, or for vaccine purposes. We have also developed an innovative and patented technology (Staby®) for the antibiotic-free bioproduction of plasmids and recombinant proteins in E. coli cells. Our technology significantly increases the stability of plasmid DNA in host strains, resulting in an overall improvement in production yield and reproducibility.
