Cuarcitas Aveneira S.L. is a family-owned company located in the heart of Galicia, in A Pobra do Brollón (Lugo). We have our own quarry that provides us with high-quality quartzite, featuring exclusive colors and textures. From these materials, we craft our range of products by hand. QUARTZITES.- Quartzites are highly resistant to abrasion and adverse weather conditions. They are rocks of high purity and mechanical strength, primarily composed of recrystallized quartz in a cream color, evenly distributed throughout a medium-fine grained granoblastic matrix. Properties & Uses: Insensitive to salt for spreading and resistant to frost and intense sunlight due to their low heat absorption, they are ideal for outdoor floors and walls, even in high-traffic areas. Their low porosity and slip-resistant, antibacterial characteristics also make them suitable for places where water and humidity are common, such as around pools, saunas, spas, showers, and changing rooms... Uses: Roofs, terraces, rectangular cladding, facades, coverings, flooring, wall coverings, roofs, decoration, landscaping, gardens, public pavements, etc. It allows for multiple design options. Its versatility gives the work a solid and distinguished result.
