Company The Cologne Cathedral is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. The Eifel-based traditional company Maschinenbau Haas has contributed to this. As early as the beginnings of the now 132-year history of the company, lead drawing machines were manufactured in Hellenthal, which were used for the production of stained glass. The windows can still be admired today in the Cologne Cathedral. The origins of the company date back to 1882. In the 19th century, the company initially focused mainly on repair work and produced various individual parts for businesses in agriculture and industry. Later, the aforementioned construction of lead drawing machines was added. In the meantime, the company has been run by the fourth generation. It has not changed its location in Hellenthal during this time. Today, however, the focus is on the production of turned and milled parts using state-of-the-art CNC machine tools. Here, we showcase our versatility, as the range extends from individual parts to custom manufacturing and the production of complete assemblies. While the scope of work has changed over the past decades, one thing has remained the same: Maschinenbau Haas is still the reliable partner for many regional and national companies.
