AWT GmbH was founded in 2003 from a former sole proprietorship near the Bearing City of Schweinfurt. It quickly became known as a competent and high-performance partner in the field of rolling bearings and bearing technology, far beyond the borders of Germany. We now deliver to over 20 countries, some with our own local representatives. Our expert knowledge, backed by years of experience, and our extensive network are successfully and customer-oriented deployed worldwide, ensuring not only our quality standards but also those of our customers. The area of large and special rolling bearings has increasingly become a significant part of the company. Since our trademark registration in 2007, we have been marketing our bearings under the brand name "AWT Germany". At the same time, we were certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and in 2008 also according to DIN EN ISO 14001. This includes areas such as development, production, technical service, as well as trading and engineering of rolling bearings...... Due to continuous growth, a new company building was occupied in 2009. On October 1, 2013, a change of ownership took place. A change that brought a lot of momentum and new ideas. From then on, Mr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Jürgen Marx has been at the helm of the company. Due to the expansion of our business areas, etc., a new company building was occupied in 2014. New areas such as special machine construction were added. Since then, we have been developing, designing, and building customer-specific test stands and devices that, for example, find their application in the food industry.
