In the mid-1980s, the founders of the company became interested in the chrome plating process originally from the USA, known as the Armoloy process. In 1987, the company was established with its headquarters and production facility in Mosbach, as well as administration in Solms-Oberbiel and Aßlar. The company currently employs 25 staff members and supplies both Germany and other European countries. The export share is approximately 25%, primarily consisting of shipments to Switzerland, Austria, France, Luxembourg, Spain, and Italy. The ATC coating is an extremely hard, dense, precise, very thin, and highly pure chrome plating that is deposited on all metals (excluding magnesium, titanium, and aluminum under certain conditions) through a high-energy process. Since the process operates at low temperatures well below 100°C due to special technology, there is no structural change to the materials being coated.
