A+M GmbH Since the beginning of August 2020, we have been producing medical face masks and community masks on fully automated production systems in Schopfheim, located in the tri-border area. Already in the spring, when the COVID-19 crisis and the dependency on masks arose, the founding couple Michael Hitz and Abda Hitz began to address the issue and had the first considerations to establish production in Germany. With A+M's product offering, we aim to become somewhat independent from Asian manufacturers and contribute to preventing further COVID-19 infections. Due to the award of a federal tender, the first larger order from the Federal Ministry of Health was secured. Meanwhile, many healthcare facilities, companies, and private individuals are being supplied regionally and nationwide. Location Since July 2020, our production, warehouse, and factory outlet have been located in the former sock factory in Schopfheim Langenau. The freshly renovated premises offer ample space and optimal manufacturing possibilities. Within a few weeks, the medical face masks were certified, the quality assurance system was established, and production was set up to deliver the urgently needed protective clothing.
