The origin of this company dates back to 1923, when Vicente Llopis Espinos started a Spanish almond business in Alicante. "Almendras Llopis", as it is known today, was established in 1974, at which point it moved to the Canastell Industrial Park in San Vicente del Raspeig. In the 1980s, it began exporting to a global market, a practice that continues to this day.
